He succeeds Juha Pankakoski, who was appointed executive Vice President, Port Solutions in September 2023.
In his role, Erixon will be responsible for Technology, Cyber Security, IT and Procurement. He will start at Konecranes on May 13, 2024, and will report to Konecranes’ President and CEO Anders Svensson.
Erixon holds a MSc in Engineering Physics. Prior to joining Konecranes, he has worked almost 30 years at Scania in different roles within technology, research and development, and engineering, most recently as Scania’s Chief Technology Officer.
