With worldwide power pack, the system can operate on AC voltages of 42V-240V, and 10V to 30V DC. The system transmits commands in the frequency range of 400MHz-475MHz. The Orbit controller, only 300g (1 oz), comes with rechargeable battery and can be fitted with rotary switch. Its housing is protected to IP 55; the transmitter model 508 is protected to IP 65.
