Åkerströms Björbo AB has won a major order from Timars Svets and Smide in Falkenberg. The order includes the reconstruction of older trucks and the refurbishment of 40 existing vehicles to equip them with Åkerströms’ remote control solutions. The remote control solutions will be used for functions for loading and unloading of bridge sections.

"We will supply a customised solution based on the customer’s particular requirements, which will feature a combination of remote control and cable control."
