These products offer SWL capacities of 75 and 100 tonnes respectively, complementing the manufacturer’s existing Profi range that spa lift capacities from 250kg up to a full 60 tonnes.
Central to the hoists is a new air motor unit that incorporates a patented integrated brake system, which features a stepped-brake piston and self-lubricating rotor.
Supplied in a standard configuration of a 6 bar air pressure supply, the machine’s motor can provide 9kW power output, which is sufficient for the operation of either hoist while also offering "significant" energy reductions.
When used at full nominal lift capacities, the compressed air consumed is 7.6m3/min that, according to JD Neuhaus, represents more than 30% saving over the hoists being replaced.
In addition, the lifting speeds at full-load have increased from 0.45 to 0.53m/min on the Profi 75 TI model and 0.35 to 0.4m/min on the Profi 100 TI.
Elsewhere, JD Neuhaus will be exhibiting at CeMAT 2014 on 19th – 23rd May 2014 in Hannover. Located in hall 27, dedicated to Move and Lift equipment, the company will be showcasing its range of hoist and crane equipment.
The latest iterations of its Profi and EH hoists, rated for 75 and 100 tonnes load applications, will also be featured at the event.
