Davis has spent 15 years in the automotive industry as a service and parts manager, and is now responsible for managing the radio control sales operations for crane and hoist applications.
He has over five years of experience in radio controls from his time at Wisconsin-based Magnetek, which includes three years as an inside sales representative and two years as a radio technician.
“Norm has made significant contributions to our customers’ businesses,” said Ben Stoller, director of Radio Controls for Magnetek. “Customers greatly appreciate his extensive radio control experience and applications expertise.”
John Holland takes over as the new manufacturer’s representative for power control and delivery system solutions in the Material Handling business unit.
Magnetek explained the reasoning behind the appointment, commenting, “John has more than 22 years of experience in sales, project management and field support of industrial automation, material handling and industrial electric heating solutions throughout the Western United States, Mexico and Latin America. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University.”
Magnetek’s national sales manger for the materials handling business unit, Daniel Beilfuss, said: “The Magnetek team is excited about the addition of John Holland. John’s extensive sales experience and technical knowledge will make him an excellent resource for our customers in Mexico.”
Magnetek is headquartered in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin and has manufacturing facilities in Menomonee Falls as well as in Pittsburgh and Canonsburg, Pennsylvania.
The firm provides overhead material handling control solutions including AC and DC drive systems, motors, brakes, conductor bar and festoon systems, radio remote controls, and pushbutton pendant stations. Two new appointments at Magnetek’s material handing business unit
Controls manufacturer Magnetek has announced two appointments within its material handling business unit, Norman Davis is now business development manager for remote controls and John Holland becomes a manufacturer’s representative.
