At the CeMAT exhibition in May, the firm brought with it the first Hoist ever to roll off its production line in Gabrovo.
In the five decades since then the firm has expanded from serving the local markets in Bulgaria, Serbia and Macedonia to gradually exporting their products worldwide.
Today the firm is a global concern focused on strengthening its position across international markets, with products already distributed across the EMEA, Asia and North America.
Podemcrane also opened their first office outside of Bulgaria in Russia last year.
Podemcrane’s director of sales and marketing Lachezar Kamburov said: “Podemcrane presented only one product at CeMAT Hanover, our first ever hoist.
“With this hoist started the story of Bulgarian hoists manufacturer Podem in 1961. During its 50-year history the company has produced more than 1.92 million units.”
