At ProMat, Whiting will be focusing on its core competencies for engineering and manufacturing built-up hoist for heavy duty service. Whiting Parts supports all capacities and service classes CMAA A-F for Whiting cranes sold over the years.
In terms of new equipment, while Whiting supplies lighter duty cranes, it actually has key core competencies for engineering built-up hoist in the heavy duty range, which consists of CMAA class D, E & F and meets Association for Iron & Steel Technology (AIST) crane specifications. In addition to the service class, Whiting continues to manufacture cranes with capacities over 100t and supplies long span girders over 100 feet. Most of Whiting’s heavy duty cranes are in the 20-60 ton range with D and E service.
