Originally completed in early June as a 110t unit with 25t auxiliary hoist, modifications to brakes and frequency drives are currently underway to upgrade the capacity to 120t. Condra has re-scheduled delivery of the up-rated crane for early July.
Sishen’s newest crane has a 16m span and a 46m lift height and follows two overhead cranes of 125t and 150t capacity for Sishen phase one.
Two 80t cranes, a 10t unit supplied for the top of the structure, and two general purpose cranes for peripheral applications have also been supplied.
