ZHR comes in a choice of seven different models, according to the desired lifting capacity and reeving system, Verlinde said. Standard features include a four-bearing lifting mechanism and a load limiter for greater safety. The load wheel and reduction gears are machined to operate for longer under heavy use.
The hand chain is electrogalvanised and the lifting chain is high-resistance galvanised with an EN 818 galvanised finish.
ZHR hoists also feature ISO hooks with safety latches, offshore high-resistance powder coating and Weston-type load brakes.
Verlinde said ZHR heavy-duty manual chain hoists can be used with its range of manual push, geared or chain-operated traveling trolleys, as well as with HPR short headroom traveling trolleys.
