TSE said the patent-pending Brickhouse front-loading arbor, a frame for stacking counterweight modules, has been designed to be ergonomic and convenient, with weight shelves allowing counterweight bricks to be front-loaded. This eliminates the traditional side-loading design, which TSE said requires the operator to stretch and twist in order to load weights from the bottom.
The Brickhouse arbor’s weight shelves eliminate the need for spreader plates, and are slanted inward to use gravity to securely hold the bricks in place, coupled with a self-engaging gate on the front of the arbor.
Brickhouse uses conventional T and J bar wall frames and can hold standard 6in counterweight bricks in single or double purchase configurations, which TSE said makes upgrading existing counterweight rigging systems easy.
