The £4m preferred supplier agreement will see Speedy supply May Gurney with a range of tools and equipment from its product portfolio, including lifting gear such as lever hoists, powered chain hoists, material hoists, winches and gantries.
May Gurney follows the Environment Agency, which signed a four-year preferred supplier agreement; services, maintenance and building group Interserve, which agreed a £3.5m one-year preferred supplier agreement; and mechanical and electrical contractor Southern Electric Contracting, which signed a two-year £6m sole supplier agreement with Speedy.
“We have a broad and diverse set of needs and Speedy is able to offer us a single point of contact from which to source a comprehensive range of equipment,” said Richard Walsham, procurement director at May Gurney.
