The Spanish radio remote control manufacturer has launched the ANM 400 (shown) which makes noise and flashes a light in case of strong wind.
The company is also planning a series of receivers in 2006, and will show a prototype of this series. It is also showing other new technology.
A new Itowa system enables both transmitter and receiver to change automatically the transmission frequency in the event of interference. Every Itowa radio remote control can be fitted with an infrared operational area limitation. This system can detect if the transmitter is outside the defined area and shuts off the crane.
