On September 10 a representative of Columbus McKinnon will lead the class through a full day of motor instruction. The course will feature the disassembly and reassembly of a 1t CM Lodestar, with three students working on their own motor.
The day will conclude with a discussion on maintenance and troubleshooting techniques.
The following day, participants will receive a half-day of training on truss with Tomcat’s Patrick Lockwood. This course will focus on design, use and theory. Demonstrations of load scenarios and truss inspection will also be a part of the training.
The course is priced at £250 but if you register before August 31 2007 you will receive a special rate of £200. The registration fee is inclusive of all VAT, workshop materials and instruction as well as breaks.
