Malta Freeport Terminals, which is owned by CMA CGM, is “the third largest shipping company in the world,” according to Konecranes. Old RTG units will be replaced with “more productive and reliable cranes to speed up operation and reduce downtime,” it added.
The eight-wheel RTGs have a lifting capacity of 50t and also have twin-lift capabilities.
