Occupying some 5,000 sq ft, the Glasgow service centre incorporates extensive workshop space, office accommodation, an extensively stocked spare parts facility and customer records area.
It is also equipped with one of its latest radio controlled overhead cranes.
Serving to provide service and maintenance support throughout Scotland, the new Glasgow service centre will work in close cooperation with its smaller sister facility located in Aberdeen.
Regional manager Hamish Sutherland will continue to oversee the operation in Glasgow, whilst working closely with centre manager Jim Johnston.
Johnston will hold responsibility for the day-to-day activities of a team of seven mobile fleet engineers who work out of the centre, together with two on-site administrative support personnel.
