The new RH-A line is available in standard lifting capacities of 5, 7.5 and 10 US tons (4.5t, 6.8t and 9.1t) lifting capacity, with two voltages – 230V and 460V – and two lifting lengths, 23ft (7m) and 33ft (10m). All hoists are reeved with four falls of wire rope and are dual speed lifting and dual speed travel.
Harrington is also offering to ship the hoist free to anywhere in the USA in 48 hours. Lonardi said that he expects to sell between 300 and 400 between now and November 2006. The series is aimed at the Yale Global King/Lift Tech World Series line of hoists.
The RH series would not be discontinued, but drawn on more for specialty lifting applications, he said.
