The work will include the supply of a 5 US ton rated overhead monorail, mounted to a gantry type frame running on a track system installed to the existing deck. The gantry shall be equipped with track trucks with one truck set being electrically powered and controlled from the common pendent push-button station connected to a junction box mounted on one leg of the crane.

The crane shall operate in an outdoor environment having an ambient temperature range of -10 to 115 degrees F.  The crane and design shall be the product of a manufacturer that has been designing and fabricating this size (or larger) type of crane for at least five years.

The crane and all it’s components including the attached monorail hoist shall be a product manufactured domestically in the United States. The crane, rail system, and bulkhead dogging devices shall be delivered to the El.5566 intake deck of the Cherry Creek Outlet Works.
