The manufacturer says the device has undergone electromagnetic compatibility testing and uses a new transmitter that broadcasts over the 433.05-434.79 Mhz frequency band. The working frequency can be changed with the remote control. There are also a series of functions that can be programmed directly by the user.
The receiver unit has no antenna and allows fast link-up, thanks to a removable terminal board, it says.
Autec has launched an eight-button compact handset, the largest of the company’s ‘Light’ range. An on/off button, plus large emergency stop, complement the six control buttons on the handset itself. Data feedback is an option. The Light range is meant for the control of devices with few motions, such as small self erecting cranes, overhead cranes, winches, towing trucks, carts, or industrial automation applications, the company said.
Autec’s radio set now complies with safety standard EN 300220-1 Class 1, which makes it a Highly Reliable Short Range Device Communication Media.
Ikusi has refreshed its range of pushbutton remote controls. The T70/1 and T70/2 models that make up the TM70 series now have six and ten positive-action two-step push buttons with self-adhesive icons. The remotes transmit over 24 channels at 870Mhz, or optionally 70 channels at 433Mhz or 915Mhz each. Frequency selection and switching is automatic.
Receivers and transmitters can also be fitted with a range limitation system that defines an area that the crane is confined to, or banned from. A sensor within the remote control detects the presence of the working area.<
