A system that allows a conventional two line clamshell bucket or grab attachment to be adapted to operate with a single winch line is offered by Allied Power Products Inc, of the USA.
The company says that its One Line system allows any type of equipment equipped with a single winch to operate with the same effectiveness as a conventional crane with two winch drums.
It claims that the system is simple to operate and can be used with any size of bucket or grab in any crane application, whether it is industrial, mobile or marine.
