Cavotec Group, the Dutch power supply technology specialist has formed an alliance with the Norwegian manufacturer of radio remote control systems, Micro-control.
Cavotec has manufacturing companies in Australia, France, Germany, Italy and Sweden, as well as the Netherlands, and has 18 sales companies and a network of distributors which serve more than 30 countries on all five continents. These will now offer Micro-control products.
Micro-control, founded in 1984, with its factory in Stjørdal close to Trondheim, has developed a standard range of products covering most requirements for remote controls within general industry, offshore, maritime and process industries. It has a modular approach to product design, enabling it to offer customised solutions. It claims to be market leader in Norway.
Cavotec chairman and chief executive Stefan Widegren said: “Cavotec, with its worldwide sales and service organisation, can give Micro-control global support in marketing its innovative technology and high quality radio remote control systems.”
