The Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA) of the UK has published the fifth edition of its Code of Practice for the Safe Use of Lifting Equipment – COPSULE.
First published in 1981, it has been revised to take into account recent UK health and safety legislation, including the Lifting Operations & Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 (LOLER). The 400 page book is available for £125 (about $190) from the LEEA, tel: +44 (0) 1279 816504.
