Swedish manufacturer Caldaro has developed a new joystick for use on cranes and hoists. The S60 JEM is made of metal and is designed to be used in applications where the joystick only has an on/off function.
Caldaro claims that the S60 JEM is less clumsy than other joysticks without analogue output signals. The company also reports that the product is built to IP65 standard.
The S60 JEM can have an overall depth of 20mm, depending on the switch type, and has switching capacities of between 5mA and 25A. The joystick can be customised by adding double or triple switches as well as a selection of handles and guide plates.
