The management team of the UK specialist instrumentation company Strainstall, led by managing director Chris Caws, has completed a management buyout from the TT Group Plc.
Strainstall, based on the Isle of Wight, off the south coast of England, has for more than 30 years specialised in load measurement and strain and stress determination, working in marine, transport, civil and industrial sectors.
The company will continue to operate from its four existing bases in Cowes on the Isle of Wight (load cell production; turnkey systems), Bath (stress analysis; structural monitoring), Aberdeen in Scotland (offshore sales), and Tonsberg in Norway (offshore monitoring systems; software).
Caws said: “Strainstall is a people business offering a wide range of technical solutions in numerous markets around the globe.
