Measurement Systems International (MSI) of the USA has produced a system for monitoring, controlling and networking multiple weighing sensor inputs and outputs simultaneously through radio frequency wireless communications.

Cellular Weighing, as the company calls it, is based around the MSI-9000 CellScale which receives and digitises analog sensor inputs and transmits outputs through an integrated RF transceiver.

Seattle-based MSI claims that the CellScale is “the first product of its kind to combine advanced weighing technology with RF cellular communications into a single industrial gra de NEMA 4/IP66 package”.
