Manufacturer of the Turtle series of powered load moving platforms, A2C, has introduced a 12t-capacity version, the smallest model in the range.
The Micro Turtle is 1300mm by 400mm, and 120mm from the ground to its top surface, which gives a low centre of gravity. It can be used singly or in multiples of two or four, and linking bars are available to maintain orientation.
Each unit weighs 120kg so a set of four, at 600kg, can move a 48t load. Three balls under the Micro Turtle that retract under load allow it to be easily moved into position prior to loading.
The latest version of the larger, 80t-capacity Turtle is now available with lateral movement.
