Canadian Crane & Hoist Manufacturing took less than a day to install and commission an 80t capacity, 20.5m span top-running double girder crane to minimise disruption at Dieffenbacher North America’s new facility in Ontario, Canada.
The crane was produced in three sections and has a 10t auxiliary hoist on the main trolley.
The contract also included a new 25t crane and the removal and reinstallation of two cranes from the old factory. Canadian Crane fitted these two cranes with new wire rope, push button pendant controls and an anti-collision system.
