It can be used for tandem lifts with two cranes when there is only one lower lifting point required and rotation of the load is critical, as a semi-spreader to give a more balanced lift, or as a lifting beam when headroom is restricted.
Multiple connection points along the top and bottom plus detachable components – meaning the beam can lift at spans from 3m to 12m by unbolting/bolting the sections to shorten or lengthen the Multi-Point – enable the product, which also has a lifting capacity from 12t to 600t, to adapt to various situations.
An optional 360º swivel hook, extended support stands, and customised versions are also available.
It is manufactured to the BSEN 13155 standard.
Headquartered in Dorset, UK, Modulift offers a full in-house engineering service, and produces a range of lifting and spreader beams, spreader frames and other custom ‘below-the-hook’ lifting equipment that is used across the global lifting industry.
