The J-hook grab consists of a standard joystick, load cell enclosure, load cell, hook and cables.
The device relies on a force-sensing load cell to automatically compensate for the weight of loads between 150 lbs (68 kg) and 500 lbs (225 kg). The electric and pneumatic hoist is suitable for applications where operators are frequently lifting loads that vary in weight, according to a spokesman.
It is the company’s fifth standard attachment for the hoist, which are some of the first standardised attachments for intelligent lift devices. They include a rack holder, vacuum attachment, cylinder handler and signature bundle handler.
