Trade shows are half hype and half reality. They are full of shiny machines and equally shiny salespeople.
But knowing that, they are also very efficient places to do market research, or to meet different companies. With some work, a single person can have memorable, face-to-face conversations with staff of 20 different companies in a day.
That is one big reason why you should go to CeMAT. Here are three others.
First, in business terms, it is not expensive.
For Europeans, the primary costs are relatively small: the costs for one person taking a short haul flight and staying in a hotel a few nights will cost less than Euro 1,000. It is more, of course, for those who travel from farther, but the rewards may be greater still.
Second, it will take you away from your day job.
I cannot deny that. But that might help give you a broader view of the entire industry, of some of
the opportunities emerging in the market, and of
how companies are, or are not, dealing with
those opportunities.
Third, it is a chance to learn about and meet some alternate suppliers. You may need a backup sooner than you think.
If you do come, stop by our stand – Hall 12, C40. We would love to see you there.
