Otehall Switches, based in the UK, has released a new range of single axis joystick controllers for materials handling equipment. The C700 Series offers potentiometric, microswitch and switched knob functions that can be combined for different customer requirements, says Otehall.
C700 models have a combination of travel point ranges of 10°, 20° and 30°, with full travel 30° either side of the centre. A standard size potentiometer can be mounted onto the joystick pivot bearing to protect it from direct loading and to increase the possibility of getting a longer working life.
The C700 series is designed to be mounted on panels up to 3mm in thickness and is supplied with a PVC gaiter and bezel to provide sealing and protection around the knob.
