Swanson has more than 40 years’ experience in crane maintenance and operations and has held several senior roles including executive director – Africa and regional operations director within the sector. With an expansive local network, he has worked closely with government bodies and has a strong track record of executing multi-million-pound contracts with a key focus on service delivery and HSEQ standards.
He will play a key role in the business’ training and competency solution service located in Luanda. The company recently launched its new enhanced premises at the centre of Angola’s largest port which comprises classrooms, an on-site simulator and a practical facility for banksman slinger and rigger courses. The team also has the capabilities to deliver remote training to clients’ operations globally.
