First, it exhibited at the Commercial Vehicle (CV) Show (stand 5F98), which took place 24-26 May, before appearing for the first time at Multimodal (6039) from 14-16 June.
Visitors saw the latest solutions in cargo control, securing, lifting, and optimising. Forankra Pritchard provides products for the entire logistics supply chain, from straps and lashings to technically advanced cargo securement systems, for all kinds of road, air, and sea transportation.
With all the latest vehicles, trailers, equipment, and technology on display, this year’s CV event quickly proved to be unmissable for thousands of fleet owners, directors, senior managers, and engineers—and for anyone running commercial vehicles as part of their business.
Multimodal, meanwhile, has been successfully building a supply chain and logistics community?of shippers,?retailers, manufacturers, wholesalers, importers,?and?exporters—?and?the suppliers who support them—since 2008.
Blake Barlow, external sales at Forankra Pritchard, explained that, as regulars at the CV Show, the company understands the products that engage the audience, including its Multi-Stick, a multifunctional pole that improves lashing operations, thanks to three interchangeable heads. Visitors noted its ability to offer three functions in one unit, while ensuring the safety of the driver operating from ground level. Also on show was the Ergobar, a telescopic blocking bar with rubber pads for industrial and urban vehicles. The product is used to ‘block’ the load transported.
This week, at Multimodal, the focus will be more on containerised products, such as Block-Load, a blocking net at the end of loading for dry containers, designed to secure the transport of any type of packaging in the simplest and most efficient way possible; Stop-Load, a retaining net at the end of dry container loading, for blocking the pallets when the doors are opened; a variety of dunnage solutions; and more. As on-site, iPad demonstrations prove, all solutions can be easily sourced directly online.
Barlow was joined at both events by Pat Cummins, divisional manager; and Ashley Grist, sales executive. Cummins said: “Trade shows have helped grow the business and secure our name in the industry, giving us exposure to both distributors and end users. This year, we’re looking to push our more unique products, such as Multi-Stick, Block-Load, and lashing systems, where we have the most standout USPs [unique selling points]. Business is going well but not without its challenges in terms of both the raw material markets and the ever-increasing costs of shipping.”
