The work will be carried out in three phases. Phase A, 2006: Ground level gantry and operator rooms (gantry drive, brakes and motors). Phase B, 2007: Machinery and operator rooms, rooftop (main & auxiliary hoist motor and drive, slew motors and drive, luffing motor and drive). Phase C, 2007/08: Operator and machinery gantry rooms (installation of crane management system PLC).
A bidders’ conference will take place on Thursday 2 February at the EGD Operations Boardroom, Esquimalt Graving Dock, 825 Admirals Road, Victoria, B.C., at 10:00 am, followed by a viewing.
