The tender also includes a pallet jack, crate lifting equipment and engine hoisting gear including Honda recommended Hanger T/N VSB02C000013 or equivalent; Honda 225 HP outboard engine stand or cradle, comprising an engine stand procured or fabricated by contractor and able to safely support 1,000 lbs (450kg). The engine stand shall be capable of handling the Honda engine, and shall have wheels and capable of being safely moved, loaded with an engine, using either the wheels or the pallet jack. All equipment or components supplied for this shall be standard commercial off-the-shelf and meet all OSHA requirements for equipment, not lifting persons or lifting overhead.
Vendor shall be required to provide a prototype for approval 45 calendar days after award. The Coast Guard Inspector is required to witness the following tests: Perform a test lift of 1,250 pounds (570 kg) on the crane and trolley, shall demonstrate that the trolley is capable of traversing the width of the crane under this load and shall demonstrate lifting an 875 pound (400 kg) object approximately the size of the engine crate with the crane, the trolley and the crane lift equipment.
