The work involved shall consist of cleaning the existing brake drums, removing the old brake assemblies and thrusters, installing new brake assemblies and thrusters utilizing the existing mounting bolt locations, burnishing the new pads, performance testing and commissioning. Additional efforts shall include removal of old asbestos lined brake pads from assembly framing and placing in plastic bags for Corps disposal.
