Two cranes shall be upgraded from 375 US ton to 385 US ton capacity. The cranes shall be tested and certified at the new rated capacity with the new control system and a remote control system.
Work will include the installation of a new operator’s cab and electrical equipment on each crane. The main hoist system including all electrical and mechanical equipment shall be replaced on each crane.
The auxiliary hoist system including all electrical and mechanical equipment shall also be replaced.
Additionally, the crane rails will be replaced and realigned.
