HBC-radiomatic’s Spanish subsdiary, HBC-radiomatic Ibérica is celebrating its 20thanniversary.

“Exactly 20 years ago, our Spanish subsidiary HBC-radiomatic Ibérica S. L. was founded in Cornellà de Llobregat (Greater Barcelona) – an exceptional occasion that we marked with an exceptional celebration,” a spokesman said.

Today, the team headed by managing director Sylvia Lacambra comprises eight employees at sites in Cornellà de Llobregat and Madrid.

The team provides support to all HBC customers on the Iberian Peninsula and in Latin America covering everything from consulting and project planning to customer service.

The company also recently announced the opening of a new branch  in Stollberg, eastern Germany.

The facility in “Stollberger Tor” commercial park has served as a workspace for its local production team since June 2024; where they manufacture HBC radio systems to support the production process at its main site in Crailsheim, Baden-Württemberg.

The new facility also supports HBC customers in eastern Germany with spare parts and software development.

The building comprises approximately 850m2 of production space, reception area, in-house exhibition, a cafeteria, and multiple offices.

“This new facility will also allow us to significantly expand our production and service staff. Additionally, we are planning to bolster our software and engineering services,” a spokesman said.

“Sustainability is always a priority for us, and this construction project in Stollberg was no exception. The facility was designed according to KfW 40 energy efficiency standards, which minimize the building’s consumption of energy for heating. We are planning to heat the entire building using emission-free geothermal sources. Additionally, most of the building will be supplied with electricity via a photovoltaic system with a peak output of 44 kW.”
