Autec will present its newest handsets MK 06 and MK 08, which complete the Modular series along with MK 10 and MK 12.
The series, which includes handsets and joystick controllers, is certified by TÜV Süddeutschland for its functional safety. In addition to the usual ergonomic shape “that eases control in difficult working environments,” the new 6/8 transmitters are even more compact and allow the employment of different actuator types (pushbuttons, toggle switches, rotary-switches, also with removable key).
“This way,” Autec said, “it is possible to create a tailor-made solution that suits the specific needs of the customer for any hoisting and material handling application in the building and industrial field.”
Another version adds up to the two standard handsets: the 6-pushbutton, Data Feedback version, that shows on the display data collected from sensors and alarms coming from the machine.
Thanks to the brand new OLED graphic display, featuring big dimensions and high brightness, the user has now an excellent viewing angle and can read information clearly, forgetting the constraints of normal character displays.
On demand, all Modular series radio remote controls can also come with the ACS (Automatic Channel Search) advanced radio technology. It performs a completely automatic search of the working frequency, and it moves the communication to a freer channel, if necessary.
Additionally, the devices work in a wider radio spectrum, thus allowing better working effectiveness: the user need not set the working frequencies and the system does not stop because of interferences.
The new models are also available in the “master/slave” and “take and release” versions, allowing the joint control of different machines or the control of the same machine with two units. The so-called “master” and “slave” transmitters are matched with two compact receiving units, thus performing the control of the corresponding machines in single or coupled mode.
The control of the shared machine occurs by means of a “take/release” actuator voluntarily activated by the user; the control status is fail-safe (the control of the shared machine remains to the same transmitting unit even when it switches off or if a failure occurs).
The available receiving units have AC power supply, and can be “outdoor” units (protection degree IP65) or DIN rail mounted units installed in the electrical panel.
All units will be displayed in the booth, including handsets with 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12 pushbuttons, proportional or digital controllers with single or dual axis and toggle or rotary switches.
