With 30 locations in the US due to a series of acquisitions over the years, the company said “it was time to unify our family of brands”.
Matex, American Wire Rope and Sling, LA Crane, Delta Rigging & Tools, and Western Sling will now become Bishop Lifting.
Rental sites including those in Texas, Louisiana and Pennsylvania will become Bishop Lifting Rentals-branded branches.
Wood’s Logging, All-Lifts, Sliver-State Wire Rope and Westech Rigging will maintain their brand names, but under the ‘a Bishop Lifting company’ umbrella.
Bishop Lifting said there would not be any changes with sales contacts, remit to addresses or branch phone numbers. However, customers should be aware of changes to email addresses, websites and social media accounts.
Key elements of the rebrand include new logos, new brand colours and new brand fonts.
Bishop Lifting said: “We are excited to announce we’re combining our brands to create value, company unity, and to combine our strengths and capabilities across the country to better serve our customers.
“We will continue to deliver deep expertise, services and support to solve both routine and complex lifting challenges.”
Bishop Lifting Products’ parent company, Altamont Capital Partners, is a private investment firm based in the San Francisco Bay Area with more than $4.5bn of assets under management.
