In his new position, Robertson will be focusing on strategic growth through acquisitions, strengthening key account relationships, expansion into new geographic markets, and industry association relationships.
He will report to John Paul, president and chief executive officer (CEO) Cattron Group International, Inc. (CGI).
Robertson has over 30 years experience in the remote control industry. Over the last several years he has been managing CGI’s material handling sales, as well as industry association relationships.
“I look forward to the challenge the new position offers; there are a number of growth opportunities in global remote control markets that will enable Cattron to continue to be the customers’ first choice for remote control solutions, serving industry globally,” said Robertson.
The CGI subsidiary companies have operations in the USA, Canada, UK, South Africa, Brazil, Europe, and China and are supported by an extensive sales and distribution network throughout North and South America, Europe, Asia, Africa and Australia.
