Turkey-based crane manufacturer Cesan announced that its 15-ton double girder overhead crane is now operational in an underground copper mining project.
The crane is designed for harsh mining conditions and plays a key in handling heavy machinery for transporting raw materials to ensure smooth operations underground.
The crane is equipped with dust and moisture-resistant components, advanced control systems, and heavy-duty hoisting mechanisms.
It ensures reliability and operational efficiency in the mining sector, one of the most demanding industrial environments.
CESAN Crane and Components, in a LinkedIn post, said: “Another 15-ton Double Girder Cesan Overhead Crane in action underground for copper mining.
“Designed to withstand harsh mining conditions, this crane plays a crucial role in handling heavy machinery, transporting raw materials, and ensuring smooth maintenance operations deep below the surface.
“Equipped with dust and moisture-resistant components, advanced control systems, and heavy-duty hoisting mechanisms, it guarantees reliability and efficiency in one of the most demanding industrial environments. Precision lifting where every move counts.”
Recently, Cesan announced that its 2-ton + 2-ton double girder underslung crane system has started operations, to ensure safe and reliable lifting in industrial environments.
The system is designed for facilities with space constraints, featuring a lightweight yet robust structure, optimised load distribution, and precision-controlled movement.
The underslung crane system is equipped with frequency inverters for smooth acceleration, advanced anti-sway technology, and high-efficiency hoisting mechanisms.
