Turkey-based Cesan Cranes & Components has installed a 10-ton Double Girder Electric Overhead Travelling (EOT) Crane at a copper processing facility.

The overhead crane is engineered to operate in demanding industrial environments, providing precision and reliability for heavy load lifting and transportation tasks.

Designed with a 10-ton capacity, the crane is customised according to the facility’s layout, ensuring optimal coverage.

It features an advanced variable frequency drive (VFD) control system, enabling smooth and precise load handling.

The lifting height is tailored to meet the specific needs of copper processing operations.

Its safety features include overload protection, emergency stop, and limit switches, ensuring secure operations.

Also, the crane is built using high-grade materials, to operate in harsh industrial conditions, such as heat and dust, ensuring long-term durability and performance.

CESAN, in a LinkedIn post, said: “Safety is a top priority, with features such as overload protection, emergency stop, and limit switches to ensure secure operations.

“Constructed from high-grade materials, this crane is built to withstand harsh industrial conditions, including heat and dust, ensuring long-term durability and performance.

“This installation reflects our commitment to delivering robust, efficient, and safe material handling solutions for the metals and mining industry.”

The announcement follows Cesan Cranes’ recent installation of a 15-ton double girder overhead crane at an underground copper mining project.

Designed for harsh mining conditions, the crane is integral to handling heavy machinery and transporting raw materials, ensuring smooth underground operations.

The mining crane is equipped with dust and moisture-resistant components, advanced control systems, and heavy-duty hoisting mechanisms.
