More than 200 members of staff from all departments took part in the challenge, including 10 dancers from the local Irish dancing school, who are children or friends of members of staff.

Scoil Rince Ní Bhrogáin is a successful Irish Dancing school based in Tyrone and North Monaghan with pupils aged 4-21. They usually perform in Monaghan town on St Patrick’s Day, but this was cancelled due to covid.

Comiblift co-founders Martin McVicar, CEO and Robert Moffett, technical director, drove two of the Combilifts during the truck dance.

They said the dance challenge was ‘a community effort all round – an aspect of business that Combilift is very keen to promote’.

Filming took place over two days, which meant production had to stop for a while, but the morale boost from staff since filming has increased output.

Most of the choreography was done in-house, with assistance from another dance teacher Lesley Goggins who trained staff with some of the moves.

Four staff members from HR, Engineering, Control Systems and Testing formed a band to play the music for the video, a staff member in IT did the drone work, and the marketing team looked after production and directing. Shona Judge is the video supremo at Combilift and did all the editing.
