The role will bear particular focus on specialist crane and hoist applications. Williams brings over twenty years experience in the industry, working for a number of organisations, including, British Ropes, Ellesmere Port Lifting, Certex and Wire Rope Services. While predominantly working in the wire rope sector, Williams also has extensive knowledge of fibre ropes and lifting equipment.
In early 2010, Cosalt was named as a UK distributor for Bridon International’s steel rope products; Williams new role will see him working in tandem with Bridon to support Cosalt’s key wire rope accounts across the country.

Bridon’s wire rope products are used extensively in the operation of container cranes, tower cranes, mobile cranes, dockside cranes, offshore pedestal cranes, piling and dredging applications. Cosalt distributes Bridon’s high strength Endurance DYFORM 34LR, Endurance DYFORM 8PI, Endurance DYFORM 6 and Endurance 50DB wire rope products.
Cosalt predominantly provides safety equipment for the marine, industrial and offshore markets in Europe, as well as supplying protective clothing and equipment for the emergency services, military, transport and construction industries in the UK.
