The 103,000 sq ft, USD42m aviation support facility, one of three buildings currently under construction on the northwest side of the site, will be set up to provide maintenance to Black Hawk helicopters. The plan calls for a specially designed and equipped deconstruction bay that will allow technicians to completely deconstruct and rebuild the Black Hawks.
The five cranes range from 0.5 USt to 10 USt in capacity and will be essential pieces of equipment for operations at the facility, NAI said. Crane installation is due to start in the fourth quarter, with most of the facility construction complete in 2010.
