Only one barrier can be open at any one time. When the barrier on the hoist side of the gate is open, a load can be landed on the mezzazine, but the worker barrier remains shut. When a member of staff manually raises the worker barrier to unload the crane, the hoist barrier lowers.
Both barriers swing up and away to the side when opened.
The system is shipped in a flat-packed kit for self-assembly.
