Thomas Zipse has been appointed chief operating officer at Demag Cranes & Components.
Prior to joining the company, he was director of production of piston manufacturer KS Kolbenschmidt. Other employers include car component manufacturer Brose Fahrzeugteile, engine manufacturer Motorenwerken Mannheim and bearing manufacturer SKF.
Zipse will take charge of processing customer projects and the company’s continuing restructuring programme.
He will also be focusing on improving delivery times, according to the company.
