Asia sales in 2003/4 were Euro 49m.
Demag also has a factory near Beijing assembling the PK chain hoist from imported components. It operates sales offices near Shanghai, in Beijing, in the southern city of Guangzhou and in the western city of Chongqing. Demag started operations in China in 1994.
