The company supplied two single-girder bridge cranes with 18m span and 5t load limit and one double-girder crane with 18m span and maximum 16t load limit.
Deman built the cranes with SWF Nova kit hoists, built three crane rails and supplied 84m (275ft) of power supply, and installed all of the components.
Despite the distance and lower-cost Czech labour, Deman was judged to be the least expensive supplier.
According to Kurt Deman, managing director, the total costs of the order were only 10% higher than a comparable project in Belgium. Half of that 10% was for transport costs, and 5% for additional work and site expenses.
