Elite Cranes UK has installed a two-ton single girder crane for a client in Coventry, collaborating with GH Cranes & Components.
The crane, measuring 8.8m, is fitted with a two-ton electric wire rope hoist that includes variable speed drives for all operations. This equipment is intended to facilitate the assembly of dumper truck components, specifically bodies and axles.
Elite Cranes UK operates branches in both the North West and North East of England, offering a diverse range of products including overhead cranes, underslung cranes, portal cranes, gantry cranes, and jib cranes.
The company also supplies wire rope hoists, electric chain hoists, crane components, and various material handling solutions.
Elite Cranes UK, in a LinkedIn post, said: “We are proud to announce the successful installation of the 2t Single Girder Crane for a customer in Coventry.
“The 8.8m crane with a 2t electric wire rope hoist equipped with variable speed drives all motions, will play an essential part in the assembly of dumper truck components, including bodies and Axles. Not only has the crane enhanced and modernised the line but it also provides additional safety features for operators.”
In 2022, Elite Cranes UK announced a partnership with GH Cranes & Components, resulting in 90% of its cranes being powered by GH components.
Despite this collaboration, Elite will maintain in-house manufacturing of all structural elements, which will carry the official Made in Britain trademark.
